Click Here To Play Best Casino OnlineThe 65-seat dining room is intimate and lively, with DJs spinning from Friday to Sunday. One of Australia’s most cherished restaurants, tucked away in an unassuming Stanmore corner terrace. But don’t sleep on the vegetables and seafood. And sing they really do – you’d be hard-pressed to find one dish on the menu that’s not delicious. The electric artworks, friendly service and top-notch Negronis are also great. A glorious, peach-coloured, produce-led bistro by three seasoned hospo pros – and the winner of Time Out's best instant payid withdrawal casino australia real money Restaurant Award 2026. There’s an à la carte menu for lunch, but we say go all out and order the nine-course set menu.
The CBD’s classy steak and seafood grill with loads of surprise factor, by the team behind Bentley Restaurant + Bar, Monopole and King Clarence. And that’s largely down to head chef Andy Evans, who has been serving dishes with punchy, bold flavours at Spice Temple since day dot. Marrickville’s no-frills Greek grill house, where delicious eats and good times are front and centre – and winner of Time Out's Best Affordable Eat 2026. Hyper-seasonal plates of premium produce and pristine proteins from a kitchen powered solely by firewood and open flames. Isobel Whelan-Little, the former head chef of LP’s Quality Meats, has taken over as culinary director, and her menu is playful, seasonal and delicious. The food here celebrates bright Parisian cuisine, with seasonal vegetables and liberal splashings of vinegar lifting plates and making them sing. 10 William St is a bit of an institution amongst foodies in Sydney, not least for its cosy hole-in-the-wall locale, tucked into the terrace houses that line Paddington's William Street.
After lunch, stroll to nearby Grifter, Batch Brewing Co. and Mixtape – and make a day of it. Service is also bang on – the team strikes the right balance of friendly and knowledgeable, while leaving you to catch up with your people. Factor in the floor team’s charisma and darn good malbec and you quickly understand why it’s just as celebrated after a decade in the biz. Service is as welcoming as walking into a mate’s house. We’ve also got love-heart eyes for the lesser-known handmade pasta shapes. Out front of Bessie’s is Alma, a cocktail bar serving party-ready drinks and salty snacks – all coming from the same open, wood-fired kitchen. The menu is backed up by a banging soundtrack, confident, assured service and a vino cellar for serious oenophiles.
The team behind some of Australia’s biggest music festivals is bringing a new concert series to Centennial Park, and The Strokes are headlining. You really can't go wrong on the menu here (they even have GF options for those wheat-averse), and the energy is simply buzzing six nights a week. Sure, they're famous for their home-baked pretzels with whipped bottarga, but they might also have some of the best focaccia we've ever eaten outside of Melbourne's Hope St Radio (pillowy soft, but with a salty, crusty top).
It's the perfect spot for a couple of shared plates between friends, or a few cocktails at the bar on a sultry first date. Newtown is home to a lot of quote-unquote 'cool' dining spots, but Continental Deli is a standout for us. We'd obviously suggest snagging yourself a table on a Friday night, where live jazz will soundtrack your dinner from 9–11pm, and finishing with their signature gold-dusted Armorica chocolate bar for dessert. Their team is friendly, bookings are easy, and the Cacio e Pepe is NOT to be missed.
You should expect familiar schnitzels, an Eastern European-leaning wine list, and the kind of easy hospitality that keeps locals stopping by since the 80s. It's perpetually busy (we'd highly suggest booking ahead), and with the kind of consistently good food and wine list you've probably been searching for. If you're looking for a spot to impress your foodie friends – but sans the pretention – then we'd suggest a trip to Newtown's iconic Cafe Paci (whether it's pronounced pa-chee or pa-see is still debatable amongst Sydney foodies). No lines, food on the table in a flash, and the service was so personal and attentive. Upon arrival, a red, neon-lit '2000' sign ushers you downstairs into a moody seated cellar, while upstairs you're greeted by a window-lit indoor-outdoor dining area. Recently relocated, but just a little further down Newtown's Enmore Road, Maiz is as authentic and delicious as they come. As someone raised by a New Mexican mum, the search for really good Mexican food in Australia is one that feels endless and futile – until I found Maiz.
I'd suggest making a day of a sunny Saturday and walking around Harris Park's Little India while you're at it. Pani puri, Papdi Chaat (a new favourite), plenty of North Indian curries to choose between, and of course, to wash it all down, mugs of steaming hot masala chai (and maybe a few mango lassi). This one came recommended by many a TikTok and in-the-know local, but Chatkazz is anything but a viral spot. Awarded a hat for their efforts in 2024, they're serving up the dishes you can't get anywhere else. Part Japanese sake bar and part izakaya – this is a spot that channels the feel of Tokyo's mini alleyway eateries complete with noren (short curtains), warm oshibori (hot towel), a friendly "Irasshaimase! With all this in mind, the RUSSH team have rounded up a non-exhaustive and definitely-not-definitive list of some of the coolest restaurants we like to frequent in Sydney. A hole-in-the-wall dinner spot in the backwaters of industrial Marrickville.
When they're not throwing parties with adidas originals, or hosting impromptu BBQs pitch-side at a rugby league game, they're whipping up self-proclaimed 'suburban cuisine' that your own Baba would be proud of. It's where all the cool cats seem to spend a Saturday night, but it's existence is already hot on everyone's lips. The Darlinghurst branch often does special dishes in collaboration with Penny's Cheese Shop, and all locations have great gluten free and vegetarian options on rotation. Their wood-fired menu of classic rounds (bigger than your average at 16-inches) lean more towards American sensibilities than traditional Italian, and if you're looking for flexibility, you can grab single slices to eat in or take away too.
Chef Scott Conant’s Scarpetta offers a soulful, elegant approach to Italian dining. Beauty & Essex is a sophisticated, speakeasy-style restaurant accessed through a working pawn shop facade. These Cosmopolitan Las Vegas Restaurants are major destinations in their own right, combining celebrity chefs, beautiful design, and a vibrant, social atmosphere. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas (known simply as "The Cosmo") is not just a hotel; it’s a dynamic, high-energy epicenter of dining and nightlife on the Strip. Oh, and the pesto pasta is a must-order. If you’re looking to impress, or want to go all out over a three hour long lunch, this is the place.
